My Children

I nurtured them and
I needed them.
I taught them how to walk and
sometimes how to talk.
Then I let them grow and
let them go.
Then there were prom dates
and staying out late and
driving reckless and
driving tickets and
sleepless nights and
sibling fights and
YES I'd do it all over
again.
